What we’re funding

Every young person deserves the chance to succeed.

Cheryl has chosen to partner with The Prince’s Trust because they are the UK’s leading youth charity and are passionate about transforming the lives of disadvantaged young people.

Together with the Prince’s Trust, we will open a state-of-the-art youth centre in Newcastle which will help totally transform the lives of thousands of young people across the North East every year, giving them the confidence, skills and support they need to build successful, happy lives.

The Centre will help the region’s most at-risk young people, including those facing drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness, mental health problems and those leaving care, to turn their lives around.

“The young people The Prince’s Trust works with, day in day out, are those who are unemployed, have no qualifications and sometimes even suffer with mental health issues and drug and alcohol addiction. They are often already resigned to the belief they will fail in life. That’s why I am raising money to open the Centre. I want to give back and help young people who feel like they’ll never achieve anything reach their dreams and live a happy life.”

More about the cause..

The Prince’s Trust helps the UK’s most disadvantaged young people turn their lives around.

It supports 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people helped by The Trust are in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or they have been in trouble with the law.

Three in four young people on Prince’s Trust programmes move into jobs, education or training. Visit the website for more information on the Prince’s Trust.

Cheryl’s Trust relies on donations to help the Prince’s Trust support disadvantaged young people, enabling them to transform their lives.

Together, we can change vulnerable young people’s lives and give them a better future.
